These parts provide pressure against the back of the 22lr bolt carrier group and increase the reliability of both conversions and dedicated 22lr uppers. Rather than installing on top of your buffer like the original pressure plug, this plug attaches to a buffer spring and replaces the buffer completely for dedicated 22lr builds.
Designed to fit rifles using a BoreBuddy/CMMG/PSA/RTB style 22lr bolt. 22LR USE ONLY, DO NOT USE WITH CENTERFIRE UPPERS.

Good product that does what it is supposed to, replaces the standard buffer on an AR 15 lower receiver with something lighter, while also keeping a slight forward tension put onto the 22LR conversion bolt group. The dedicated plug can twist and become unaligned with the Buffer retaining pin after frequent upper changes if you have multiple dedicated 22LR uppers for one lower receiver. Not an issue if it happens, buffer retaining pin still holds the dedicated buffer in place if it does become unaligned, but it can be an irritation to see it happen, but a definite better that the pressure plug
