I bought one of these 12 inch uppers a few months ago and I’ve been very impressed by its accuracy and all around really liked the gun. We got an FRT to put in it and it took us a while to get it all figured out with the FRT but bore buddy was really helpful. I would definitely recommend knowing what you’re doing before you try making an FRT 22. Really the only two things that I definitely think could’ve been designed better and it’s why I didn’t give it a five star, are the chamber and the extractor. The chamber didn’t have any slope so the bullets sometimes failed to feed properly. I was able to use a Dremel and polish the chamber and it works much better now so I don’t know why they don’t just make them with the proper slope. The other thing is the extractor which doesn’t make as much contact with the round as it should and sometimes does not eject the shells quite right I modified mine, and it works a lot better now, but still sometimes has trouble if it gets too dirty. I bet if they fix those two things it would double the reliability of the uppers. In general, I think the uppers are worth the money, even though it wasn’t quite as reliable as I hoped it’s still a good gun.
