I am pretty impressed with this upper. The barrel is quite heavy, and will never overheat. It stays cool to the touch after a few hundred rounds in semi auto fire. It seems like it was made for full auto fire. I would have given this upper 5 stars however there are some minor critiques i have; the inside of the receiver does have some minor scratches or wear after 1000 rounds, the upper feels super light and the barrel is really heavy so the proportion of weight is off and it is very front heavy. Shot groups are pretty close and the mlok handguard is really nice with an aggressive look. A 16″ upper ends up looking like a 14″ carbine due to the barrel being tucked into the receiver, so it looks and feels like a smaller rifle.
