22lr Quiet Collar for the CMMG/Ciener/Palmetto/Right to Bear style bolt groups. CNC machined from stainless steel with the feed ramp already polished for reliable feeding, and featuring an easily replaceable polymer buffer to deaden bolt noise. 0.700″ length. Both right hand and left hand collars are coming soon!
A user metered a 4.5″ barrel fitted with a Ruger Silent-SR suppressor and found a significant reduction in sound signature (due to reduction of noise from bolt closing). Note: this collar ONLY reduces noise generated by the action cycling and does not reduce sound level on an unsuppressed firearm.

Nick –
Definitely quiets down the “clack” of the bolt slamming home, which is the loudest part if you’re running a silencer. I have over 2k rounds through it, and no noticeable signs of wear. It’s all I use now. Another Incredibly well thought out and reliable product from BoreBuddy.

Recently went the dedicated 22lr upper route and needed to modify my 223/556 CMMG conversion bolt with the 22lr Collar. The BoreBuddy folks were out of stock at the time so I purchased a regular CMMG 22lr Collar. It worked well however the bolt ‘clang’ from cycling was noticeably loud. As soon as the Quiet Collar was back in stock I purchased one and hit the range. After 500 rounds, with several magazine dumps completed as fast as I could pull the trigger, have to say the Quite Collar is awesome. Bolt noise reduction is significant and function was flawless with a variety of ammo from 29-45 grains. I’ll keep the all metal CMMG collar as a back up however I doubt I’ll ever use it again.
