Our 22lr AR bolt weight system reduces bolt velocity, delaying case ejection and reducing the volume of gas and powder residue released from the ejection port, while eliminating the infamous 22lr AR bolt bounce.  The bolt weight engages our bolt buffer at the rear of the BCG, further reducing noise and harshness for a truly refined and reliable system.  With a weight, your rifle stays much cleaner, as well.

The lightweight adjustable bolt weight allows the addition of .55oz to 1.2oz of weight while offering great bolt bounce elimination.  The lighter aluminum body allows the user to use heavier internal weights for superior bounce mitigation when using short barrels and/or light ammo.  Includes aluminum and steel internal weights.

Please note: There are a lot of variables in cycling of the AR22 platform, with ammunition selection being the largest of those variables.  A lightweight adjustable weight is recommended for use with short barreled builds and/or reduced power ammunition in a longer barreled build.

The weights are designed to fit dedicated rifles and conversion kits with a Atchisson/Ciener/CMMG/Spikes style bolt.

    The light weight bolt system seems to have increased the reliability of my 4.5″ upper as compared to the original weight system. The heavier original adjustable weight would cycle with all aluminum rods in it, but this lighter weight system runs even better with 1 set of steel (large/small) rods and 1 set of tungsten (large/small) rods.
