I love that the detent and spring are held by a screw that permits adjustment. I have little doubt some will adjust this inward so it keeps the collar fixed the tenon during cycling, or back it out to allow it to fit onto some aftermarket barrels.

Only complaint is the set screw is a little tricky to tighten with out stripping.

That’s because it’s not a set screw and should not be tightened down. It’s a detent and the height is set properly when manufactured.
